Blue Urbanism challenges us to imagine how cities can include the ocean in their planning and the importance of preserving what makes up most of the planet. I wanted to highlight this idea through my photos and design layout; Creating a mock-up of Chapters 1, 5, & 8 from Timothy Beatley’s Blue Urbanism, I chose to create a book layout that not only expressed what Blue Urbanism is—but also emphasized the richness of the sea.
